I adore those gardens where you see majolica plant holders which harmonize with the surrounding flowers and greenery. I am reminded of a beautiful Monet painting with a garden path full of sunflowers, in front of a pink house, lined on each side by majolica vases in white and blue….
For each of these two plant holders I chose to experiment with a very different color palette: one played totally around pastel hues for the hydrangeas theme, and a much more intense palette for the lemons theme, where it’s predominant the contrast between yellow and aqua/green tones.
